Have Faith in God

While practicing the piano and playing my favorite hymns, I found this beautiful hymn. I never heard it before but the words are encouraging.  After some practicing, I was able to sing and play it. :-) Click here to listen to me sing and play it on the piano. (You may have to turn up your speakers).

Have faith in God when your pathway is lonely;
He sees and knows all the way you have trod.
Never alone are the least of His children;
Have faith in God, have faith in God.

Have faith in God; He's on His throne.
Have faith in God; He watches o'er His own.
He cannot fail! He must prevail!
Have faith in God, have faith in God.

Have faith in God when your pray'rs are unanswered;
Your earnest plea He will never forget.
Wait on the Lord; trust His Word and be patient.
Have faith in God; He'll answer yet.

Have faith in God in your pain and your sorrow;
His heart is touched with your grief and despair.
Cast all your cares and your burdens upon Him;
And leave them there, O leave them there.

Have faith in God tho' all else fail about you.
Have faith in God; He provides for His own.
He cannot fail tho' all kingdoms shall perish;
He rules, He reigns upon His throne.

Blessings,

Ah, thats one my favorite hymns! Its not a very commonly heard one, and though we have a huge collection of hymn books, its not in the majority of them. But its been one of my family's favorites for awhile now. Thanks for reminding me yet again of these precious and comforting words.

Good job playing and singing!

Beautiful! I had never heard this before.
I play piano too, I'm going to listen to you playing it and see if I can play it too. I play by ear and so I learn best when I hear someone play it.
I read that you are learning how to play the violin. My sister has a fiddle and she has been letting me practice on it. I have always wanted to play the fiddle. I play the mandolin and the fingering is the same as as the fiddle/violin and so that part is pretty easy but I still have to get better at doing the bow :).
Blessings,
Hannah
